CHRISTMAS GALA 2019 No fever could stop me today. Grateful for everyone who helped bring this event together. Grateful for friends who reminded me to rest, brought me medicine, coffee and hugs. I love my church family. I love my sisters. My heart is overflowing!
A pastor an an evangelist started a bible study... One whole year of cultivating friendships, sharing meals together, crying, laughing and praying together! These are my sisters, this is my tribe and I am so blessed to walk through life alongside them! (S/O everyone who made this day so special. We love you!!!) PC: @kendykayte
6 years ago I cheered as you received the top academic achievement award at your university cadet ceremony. Today I cheered (and cried) as you received the same award at your police academy graduation ceremony. This was hands down one of the most special days, and I couldn’t be more proud of you! Love you brotherrrrrr. (Swipe for the glow up)
On this weekend, five years ago, a very broken and tired girl who was surrounded by darkness and ready to give up was dragged to this very mountain. She was met with a love she didn’t know existed, a love she didn’t believe she was worthy of. She felt the weight of her shame fall. She watched as the walls of lies she had let build up around her crumbled. She left that mountain free. She left that mountain with HOPE AND A FUTURE. Coming back, and meeting with God at that very same spot, filled with joy, gratitude and freedom, instead of shackles is a feeling I can’t put into words. There is always more, and this is just the beginning.
Got Milka?
Are arms supposed to be this bendy, or can everyone do this? Like... I’m fine, just concerned.
Woke up feeling SO loved! I am so grateful to be surrounded by such life-giving friends! These are just a few of the many that have walked with me this past year. 23 is already lookin’ reeeaaaally good to me!
